After graduating from North Central University with a degree in Pastoral Studies, Tony became a pastor on St. Paul's east side. During his years of pastoral experience, he spent most of his time counseling individuals, families and children. During those years, Tony realized that he had a good grasp of the Scriptures but was not as well grounded as he would have liked in the areas of human behavior and counseling. After seeking God's will, Tony enrolled in Alfred Adler Graduate School to acquire those skills.
"I have a passion to try and save marriages and help families function as well as possible. I love to help parents better understand their children's needs and learn to more successfully parent. As a former pastor, I personally understand the pressures and isolation that pastors and their families sometimes experience. I feel called to help pastors and their families better deal with these issues and help heal them from past hurts." Anthony M. Gladysz
Experience
Tony received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Pastoral Studies from North Central University and served as a Senior Pastor for several years. He is presently completing his Masters of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Alfred Adler Graduate School. Tony did his internship as a school counselor in Elk River School District. He has done in-home skills training with families and children and has worked extensively with families (including single parent families), children and adolescents. He also has significant cross-cultural counseling experience working with children and families of Latino, African American and Native American ethnicity. He has many years of experience working in the area of substance abuse by adults and adolescents as well. He is a member in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors, the American Psychological Association and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. |
