Carol’s journey to individual, marriage and family counseling began while ministering to individuals in divorce recovery groups. This experience became a burden to help and counsel individuals so they might heal their marriages and avoid divorce.

Carol received her Masters in Counseling and Psychotherapy from the Adler Graduate School. She was an intern at Christian Recovery Center under Dr. Jeanette Vought. She developed and led the group “Before You Say I Do Again” at Church of the Open Door for nine years with her husband. She also led Open Door’s Divorce Recovery Group. She is a member in good standing of the Christian Association of Psychological Studies (CAPS), the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
